Ecocert e cosmos
Chemyunion offers in its portfolio ECOCERT and COSMOS validated products, which provide maximum traceability of the ingredients used and ensure processes that reduce or eliminate the use or generation of substances potentially harmful to human health and the environment.
Organic Certification
Some of the products in our portfolio come from certified organic farming and reconcile economic progress, social responsibility, and the maintenance of the planet's natural balance.
SMETA Certification
SMETA is one of the most widely used ethical audit formats in the world and was developed to provide a comprehensive system for sharing information related to business ethics. Its certification consists of four pillars that measure socio-environmental management performance: Labor Standards, Health and Safety, Environment, and Business Ethics.
I-REC Certification
Our commitment to the use of renewable energy is confirmed through the I-REC Brazil certification. We are pioneers in Brazil in proving the use of renewable energy sources in 100% of our operations, reinforcing our commitment and responsibility to the environment.
ISO 14001
We hold the ISO 14001:2015 certification, which represents a significant achievement in our commitment to reducing environmental impacts. This complements our other certifications within the Chemyunion Integrated Management System and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Environment
Environmental Management System
Eco-efficiency is part of our management strategy, which aims to combine economic and ecological efficiency to produce more while using fewer resources. This way, we generate less waste and minimize our impact on the environment.
Our Environmental Management System permeates Chemyunion's business expansion strategies to prevent and minimize the impacts of our operations on society and the environment. To achieve this, we promote sustainability at all levels of the company through indicators and initiatives focused on eco-efficiency.
Organic Cultivation
We have obtained the Ecocert organic cultivation seal for certain plant species used in the composition of our products, such as Bidens pilosa, Thymus vulgaris, and Physalis angulata, for example.
This is an initiative that emphasizes respect for rural communities' culture and economic and ecological sustainability. We are always striving for improvements to maximize social benefits and protect the environment.
Zero Landfill Project
Through an innovative process, we transform solid waste into thermal energy, which is reintegrated into the industry. This approach comes with a significant advantage: the reuse of a large amount of material that would otherwise be destined for landfills. In our current scenario, we have achieved an impressive energy recovery rate of about 56% of waste generation.
Eco Trail
Designed sustainably to avoid the removal of any trees in its path, the Eco Trail features the key plants used in our products with the aim of enhancing and stimulating the senses of the human body. The site has permeable floors, contributing to the natural water cycle and significantly reducing issues caused by rainfall, in addition to other benefits such as safety, durability, and landscaping.
Botanical Garden
An infrastructure that provides the cultivation of native seedlings used to densify areas still in recovery or donated to the surrounding community. Additionally, it enables the production of plant species of interest for new product developments.
Ornamental Lake
Has a water supply from rainwater collection and permeable floors, following the concept of bringing the local community closer to the native species that make up the original biome of the Sorocaba region. The area features two large decks, this can promote increased focus, improve employee efficiency, and contribute to the well-being of the community, allowing for a healthier life for those in direct contact with nature.
